Method 1 : Track IP address with the help of Command Prompt

Step 1: Open Facebook and chat with the friend whose location  you want to track.

Step 2 : Open up the cmd prompt by pressing on Start >>>Run >> type cmd.

Step 3: As soon as cmd prompt is opened, type on the same line “ netstat -an “ and press enter

Step 4: Obtain the IP address of the person you were chatting.

Step 5: Log on to the website “ www.ip-address.com “ and trace the location of the IP you were chatting with . Note down the location of the website and find out whether the person is fake or real .
